I sometimes watch my brother play through games and wonder how he does it. He plays, and enjoys, the kind of games where mission after mission you're asked to do the same sort of thing. Stuff that would bore me. But he just keeps plugging away. Perhaps it's an age thing.

Well, you could see it coming lightyears away. The sequel to the hilarious and popular LEGO Star Wars game for just about every platform is upon us only a year and a half later. LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy takes gamers to the original three films which were made famous in the early '80s.

Perhaps the only downside about Lego Star Wars II is that the melee combat remains weak throughout, some of the latter puzzles can be wilfully obscure, and that Traveller's Tales neglected to allow co-op to be played online.

This is a fun game. My son and I have played together many time in co-op mode. We both use a gamepad instead of the keyboard because it didn't feel right. You can't use the mouse, so this made it awkward. It would be nice if you could play multiplayer instead of both of us looking at one monitor.
