The Lego series of games have been going for 9 years now and we've had 16 games out of that space of time, some might consider it saturation while others see it as a nice balance. Finally, a movie about the popular toys has been released and is demolishing the opposition at the box office.

We loved The LEGO Movie, and we love LEGO games, so we were excited to get this one. It's a great game when it works. Unfortunately, there are soooo many glitches in the game and we have had to hard restart many times....very aggravating.

My 4 yr old and 9 yr old plays it together and they love it.

Kids love it 5 & 7. Funny puns throughout lots of colors and action. If your kids like lego games pick this up, you won't be disappointed. Wal-Mart also has the best new price.

This leaves a bit of a conundrum, as we have a fantastic film, games tie ins with films are generally awful, but LEGO games are good. So where does this leave The LEGO Movie Videogame?

If you've played previous Lego games, you will have a basic idea of what to expect with this movie tie in. The Lego Movie Videogame doesn't deviate from the previous Lego games formula, so if you have any experience with previous Lego games, you should be able to get right into this one without too...

Easy for an 8 year old to play without adult intervention. Fun for adults too though. Good, wholesome fun for everybody!

The kids haven't stopped playing since they got the game a week and half ago. They are playing it right now! They love it. Our son is only 4 and knows all the character's names. He has no problem playing the game. Our 8 year old daughter loves it too. I am so happy we bought that game!

After 8 years my PS3 is still going strong, and titles like this make me proud to own the system. Great story, fantastic visuals, and gameplay easy enough (and non-violent!) for my 5-year-old to master.
