Firstly we're going to say that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is pretty much what you'd expect from a LEGO branded game. There aren't really any advancements made in the series which is the biggest disappointment to us.

great lego game with lots of great characters
Gameplay; Graphics; Multiplayer
"...a superhero story worthy of afternoon playtime." "Lego Marvel Super Heroes couldn't slay all of its technical villains..."
Open-world New York City; Tons of collectibles; including Stan Lee himself; Plenty of funny moments to keep the laughter up
Technical mishaps, including game-breaking glitches, Monotonous level design and mission format, Strange A.I; actions during open-world play
is the best thing to happen to Marvel games since 2006's Marvel Ultimate Alliance. It's a warm and witty, multi-layered approach to the brand that ties in hundreds of Marvel's most iconic characters, settings, and stories.
Huge character list; Marvel-rific story; Fantastic visuals
Unoriginal puzzles
Excelsior!
Tt Games does a great job with taking the Marvel universe and applying it to fun gameplay and big, somewhat sandbox-like, environments. There's plenty to do and discover with this LEGO entry. Fans of the series won't be disappointed.
Oh LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, how do I love thee? Let me count the bricks… In a game that many thought may never see the light of day, TT Games brings us a marvellous addition to the LEGO videogame franchise.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds.
Limited only by story levels that grow tired towards the end, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is nevertheless a wonderfully witty, fun romp with a huge cast of characters and an impressively large and varied open-world hub. TT Games has done it again.
Not to mix comic book metaphors but Lego Marvel's kryptonite is technical rather than conceptual, but this is still an enormously entertaining co-op adventure.
Amazing attention to detail in terms of both the Lego and the Marvel trivia, with a huge range of characters and very diverse range of powers; Well-designed story missions, fun co-op, and endless unlockables
All the usual bugs and glitches of a Lego game, combined with a worryingly syrupy frame rate in the open world; Terrible flying controls outside story missions
