Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2: "A love letter to Marvel wrapped up in the best Lego game yet"

A few technical hiccups and minor quibbles aside, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 tops off a great year for comic book properties with a fun, varied adventure.

The humour is on par with anything in the MCU; Generous amount of side content; Full of fresh ideas

Technical issues; including glitches and frame-rate drops; Tedious boss battles

A Marvelous Mess

TT Games has released a slew of Lego games over the past dozen or so years, but Lego Marvel Super Heroes was easily my favorite. It had a massive roster of powerful heroes and an equally sizable hub world for them to explore.

Smack Kang Wallop

Diverse range of heroes and villains; Chronopolis is fun to explore; Sound design is excellent

Some bugs I encountered forced a restart; Boss fights aren't great

The long-awaited sequel to 2013's LEGO Marvel Super Heroes arrives this week, and it delivers more LEGO fun with a huge cast of Marvel characters. Massive open world to explore; Huge roster of characters to unlock; Fun story with lots of variety

Some framerate and camera issues; A few annoying fights with too-powerful henchmen; Please give us a dedicated ranged attack button

The combat is still quite simple and it's sometimes difficult to tell what you should do next, but the story is lighthearted and fun...

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Review

Apart from a small UI overhaul, a fragmented hub, and a batch of new and redesigned characters, this is more Lego, more Marvel, and more collecting. For better or worse.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Review – Not With a Kang, But With a Whimper (PS4)

This sequel is an interesting amalgamation between the Marvel films, Netflix TV shows, and comic books. Thanks to Netflix, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist all have their own main story mission. (Why isn't Jessica Jones in it Not a clue.

New puzzles, Great to play as characters other than the main Avengers and X-Men, J; Jonah Jameson's webcast, Baby Groot, Puntastic

Worthless partymembers; Game-breaking glitchfest; Puzzles may be too complex for young fans; Gwenpool
