Same old Lego gameplay

One of the best Lego games of the entire series, with a dizzying array of bizarre characters and some genuinely compelling gameplay for younger players.

Wonderful cast of heroes and villains and a great sense of humour; Excellent animation and good portrayal of powers; Tons of content, fun open world environment, and great co-op

The usual bugs and glitches threaten to kick in at any moment; Side quests would quickly get repetitive if not for the humour and characters; No real reward for skilful play

The LEGO games have utilised a vast array of franchises over the years, from huge properties like Star Wars and Harry Potter individually, to the 1980s TV shows Knight Rider and the A-Team in LEGO Dimensions.

This feels like a true sequel to 2013's LEGO Marvel Super Heroes , and that is both a positive and a negative. Just like its predecessor, it is stuffed to bursting with fan-service and it delivers the signature fun LEGO gameplay elements that have always been core to these titles.

TT Games has released a slew of Lego games over the past dozen or so years, but Lego Marvel Super Heroes was easily my favorite. It had a massive roster of powerful heroes and an equally sizable hub world for them to explore.

Beyond that, there's really nothing more to it. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a not terrible time and a pretty good game. While the story is nothing to write home about, and the gameplay is beginning to feel more than a little played out at this point, you know, definitively, if you want to play...

I would not recommend this game. You will play and save it and when you go back in, it won't be saved and you will have to start all over. It's very frustrating!!

Apart from a small UI overhaul, a fragmented hub, and a batch of new and redesigned characters, this is more Lego, more Marvel, and more collecting. For better or worse.

Had some difficulty ordering this with Amazon due to packaging which was annoying. Wasn't too fussed about the Lego figure. Ended up getting it elsewhere for lower price with bonus DLC. The game itself has lot it's sense of fun compared to the first game I feel.
