The best part of this game is going around the castle looking for figures, gold bricks and extras.

One of the best game for kids

It's (almost) Perfect! The problem is the absent of a detailed guide thru the rooms and levels. Sometimes its hard to find a solution...

Great Fun

Like all the other Lego games great great fun. Not a HP fan but this game convinced me to buy all the films and have HP session so I understood what was going on. Needless to say now a Harry Potter fan. (The books are on order). A message to Steviekid I think your computer has a problem.

Altogether fun experience in POtter World.

Another Lego game that is fun to play at all levels. This game is made for every harry potter fan as it brings humor to potter franchise. Highly recommended for Lego lovers.

Awesome Game

There is a ton of content, and much to do here in this game. The visual environment, background music, vocals all complement into a total game for all ages. I suggest using one of the save slots for two players to game together and use the other 3 for solo gaming or perhaps 2 and 2.

Game has better graphics than the prior Lego games and has extended video shorts that help the game connect to the different segments as you progress; It has 4 save slots, 2 player ability and allows for some tweaking of video resolution and other graphic options.

The game options for spell purchases, entering unlocked levels, red bricks and other game "management" things are scattered throughout Diagon Alley instead of being all in one spot like the Lego Star Wars where every thing was located in the Cantina; You have to run around a little to get to those.

Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 review

Lego Harry Potter plays like a secret lost chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. A chapter where Harry goes mad with power, puts on a fake moustache and runs, giggling, through Diagon Alley, turning people into ice cubes with a wand that looks like a carrot.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 review

Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 is a witty, endearing, wholesome and irreverent adaption of the films, but you don't have to be an avid fan of the series to enjoy Traveller's Tales romp through Hogwarts. Great family entertainment.

A very smooth difficulty curve; The interaction between characters and the variety of spells adds great depth to the puzzle-solving; Hogwarts is a joy to explore.

Some frustrations with targeting; The audio can get repetitive.

LEGO Harry Potter

I often wonder what my generation will leave behind for the next. What our legacy will be. Oh, I'm not waxing philosophical on world leaders or global issues, I'm thinking about pop culture.

Needs fixing

Very amusing game to spend some time with, but there are too many bugs in it. One in particular is the Dark Tower level in year 3 as you hit two statues that have to melt an ice wall, the game just stops and you have to shut it down and start over again and again.

Easy to learn; Entertaining; Fun To Play
