LEGO City Undercover Review – PS4

Traveller's Tales brings its tried and tested Lego game formula to the world of undercover policing, and produces one of its most consistently enjoyable and amusing titles for quite some time.

Lego City Undercover PS4 review – GTA: Legoland

The definitive version of the hidden gem in the Lego games catalogue, although the formula is so overused by now it no longer feels quite as fresh as it did.

Well-designed open world is teeming with secrets and genuinely worthwhile collectables; Consistently amusing dialogue and welcome technical fixes

Simplistic combat and poor vehicle handling; Bland art design and still overly long load times; The Lego formula is getting very tired, especially with the tacked-on co-op

LEGO City Undercover PS4 Review

LEGO City Undercover was first released on the Wii U back in 2013, but with its recent release on the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, there's potential for the game to get the attention of a much bigger audience, and deservedly so.

LEGO City Undercover launched to warm applause on the Wii U back in 2014. One of our resident Nintendo gurus, Sean Colleli, wrote a 2,500-word review and gave it a 9 out of 10 . That's no small thing.

So much fun!!!

Got this game for my grandson and he loved it. Easy for him to play. His dad who is a big gamer also liked it better than any of the other Lego games.

Game Review: Lego City Undercover

Lego City Undercover released way back in March 2014 for the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS, the Wii U version especially was held in high regard, largely been dubbed as the Grand Theft Auto for kids.

Possibly the funniest Lego game; Full of great cop movie clichés; Fun missions; Large city with plenty of side activities

Vehicles can be fiddly to drive; Long initial load-time to menu

Great Game even with the load times

I've owned this game on the Wii U and was very happy to see it come to ps4 with Co-op play so me and my son can play together. This is done with a complete split screen unlike other Lego games' smart split screen which works perfectly.

Co-op cops – LEGO City Undercover PS4 review

Four years ago, TT Fusion gave us another bite at the LEGO apple with a massive open world unlike any they'd ever built before. As Editor David Roberts called it, a Grand Theft Auto-scale game, but suitable for the whole family.

Laugh out loud storyline; Looks great at 1080p; New UI is an improvement; Massive world to explore; 100+ vehicles to play with

No co-op puzzles or storylines; Floaty controls; Load times are still excessive
