LA Noire Review – Xbox 360

L.A. Noire is a gritty, single player detective game set on the infamous streets and in the smoke-filled back rooms of post-war Los Angeles. Designed and developed with a nod to the classic film noire movie genre, L.A.

Other than that the game is crap. Money not worth AT ALL

It doesn't even work. The most that will happen is the start screen will appear. Other than that the game is crap. Money not worth AT ALL!

More LA Noire For Switch Players

In 2011, a game released for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 that surprised just about everyone with how differently it played given the developer who made it. LA Noire is a detective game where the emphasis was plainly centered upon facial animations, reactions, and storytelling, making it something unique...

The Gumshoe Diaries

The Switch port comes with a graphical hit, but the crime-solving is as compelling as ever.

A Solid But Brutal Game

Before I say anything else, I should say that this game needs a trigger warning. This game has violence, misogyny, racism, and sex crimes. Now, I'm one of those people that think reactions to violent video games is overblown. Just my 2 cents.

I Didn't Like It

Played this for a little while & just couldn't get into it. Didn't like the disjointed presentation, & long loading times between scenes. Never been a fan of GTA or Red Dead Redemption, & this seems like it's built on the same gaming system. Been spoilt by Beyond Two Souls already!

L.A. Noire

Play as a detective in the city of Los Angeles. Set in the 1940s and based on the crime films of the day, Can you pick a liar from their tone and facial expression Huge number of side cases to hone your investigative skills. Drive around the game world in free roam style.

Investigative mechanics – Captures the era perfectly – Amazing storytelling

Slow to get going – Just a little too much reptitiveness

L.A. Noire is a boring game from a company with an amazing track record

First of all L.A. Noire is not a bad game but when their are so many other amazing games out there why buy just an ok game. I will list the positve and negatives of the game in my humble opinion to help you make your own decision. The above is my 2 cents.

Positive: 1.) The facial recognition technology is amazing; The game relies on you to pick up on facial clues to figure out if you suspect is telling the truth; 2.) The game looks beautiful 3.) The map within the game is big and allows you to freeing go where you want to

Negative: 1.) The game is tedious and searching for clues on your suspects faces can be pretty boring; 2.) The game does not have enough to do beyond the main missions; 3.) The game makes you basically run around in circles

I got disappointed with this game. Being a rockstar title and because of the good reviews, I went ahead and bought the game. Unfortunately, after spending1 to 2 hours on it, I find myself getting bored. I only played the game once and never tried it again.
