Kyocera Mita makes a range of laser printers and multi-functionals from personal one-per-desk models right up to big-league machines that can handle small-run production print jobs. The FS-2020D is a ‘team' printer, so medium-size groups of workers are the users it's been developed for.

Having looked at the Xerox Phaser 3435 only days ago, the release of Kyocera Mita's FS-2020D makes a good direct comparison. Both printers are small ‘team' (workgroup) mono lasers, both boast duplex print as standard and both offer USB and parallel connections.

Bought this to get a fast and cheap to run printer to replace an old HP. It arrived in a factory sealed box. Initial impression was that it was a hefty bit of kit built to last and the first test page appeared with lightning speed. But then the problems started.

I Bought it and don't work properly. The service was quickly and solve the problem. It was only a piece adjustment. I recommend the initial setup by specialist. The printing quality is awesome. Excellent options with automatic side to side printing. Very fast and cheap with econolodge option.

Kyocera has a long history of winning PC Pro awards for its lasers, and FS-2020D is no exception, putting in another excellent display. The FS-2020D's greatest strength is its low running costs.
