The TSN-880 series is the larger of the two newest scope lines from Kowa. We've reviewed scopes before. We've reviewed Kowa scopes before. We've never seen anything like this scope before!

I simply think that this scope, combined with the 25-60 wide-angle eyepiece, gives the sharpest image around. Leica is close. I used to be a diehard Swarovski user, but their switch to the modular system has been a mistake in my experience.

This is the finest piece of optical equipment I have ever looked through. I purchased the 883 with both the 25x LER and 20-60x eyepieces. Eagle Optics had everything in stock and shipped it out within 24 hours via FedEx overnight service, for no additional charge I might add.

My review compares my new Kowa with a 25-60 zoom to my old Celestron 100mm ED Regal with a 22-67 zoom. I favour zoom eyepieces because they allow you to choose the best trade off between light and field of view on one hand and magnification on the other.
