I have had my Zi6 for 5 years now. It works great and no problems. I do not have any battery issues since I started putting in the lithium AA batteries in back in 2009. The lithium AA last a very very long time.

While the Creative Vado, Flip Ultra and soon to be released Mino all have peerless YouTube credentials, they're all missing one thing: hi-def recording. That hasn't escaped the attention of Kodak photowizards – they've waved their wands and produced a competitor with, you guessed it, the ability to...
Once you get used to the user interface which is designed to be simple (maybe to simple) it is not a bad device. Like a mobile phone camera you have to hold in front of your face to see the screen to watch what you are filming. This make the device less very obvoius when in use.
The zi6 represents my second foray into the tiny camcorder field. I was happy to find that it was very easy to transfer the videos to my PC, something the first camera lacked. This is the third Kodak product that I have owned, and I have been very happy with all of them.
Light weight; small; very easy to use; big screen; HD; and rechargeable batteries come with it
Only .mov format; No stabilizer, but what do you want It is very cheap after all
Best out of this line of Kodak pocket camcorders I tested ... as far as quality and does great with rechargeable batteries ...
Pure Digital's Flip helped launch the low-priced camcorder revolution last year, and it had price, portability, and ease of use on its side. With the Flip, the focus was on capturing short clips for streaming video sites, and its picture was, at best, a distant concern.
HD video capture; Large, bright screen; Macro mode; Still-image capture; Solid speaker
Large footprint; Heavy; Very little built-in memory
Kodak's second foray into video is way more satisfying than the MC3, its first. A fraction bigger but more accomplished than its diminutive Flip Mino competitor, the handheld Zi6 captures HD 720p video at 30 and 60 fps, YouTube-ready VGA and still shots.
2.4-inch LCD; Rechargeable batteries, charger and media software included (for PC only); SDHC-ready; No annoying red light on the front to ruin stealth video action
Zoom is indexed instead of smooth; LCD could be brighter; As expected, stills are a bit soft; Annoying startup and shutdown chime
We've seen Flip Video impostors (anyone remember the Creative Vado ?), but Kodak's Zi6 is the first pocket camcorder that gives Pure Digital a run for its money. It shoots 720p video at 60 frames per second, and unlike the Flip camcorders, it has an SD Card slot that can accommodate cards as large...
Good size, good video. Easy to use, feels comfortable in your hand. Takes pictures as well as HD video. Looks like a somewhat large cell phone. Very easy to post to youtube
Easy to use; Great quality video; Very comfortable to hold and fits in your pocket
more features; Better software included with it
I love this video camera. It's easy to use and download to the internet. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the software included sucks. I used to work in the software industry and I know decent software.
Easy to take videos; Easy to download; Fits in a pocket; Decent graphics
The included software, Media Impressions by ArcSoft sucks, It does best with a tripod; Hand held videos can be a bit shakey
