Before I start. I don't really know a great deal about the technical side of this camera. If you need to know the specs, you can get that from the manufacturers website or on Play.com. That is where I bought mine from. I paid about ￡120 for mine but it is now down to ￡99.99.

A great little video camera that is both fun and easy to use

Sound quality

If you want an easy to use cheap HD camera go for this one. If you want super zooms, more features and something complicated to use buy something else! It is light and portable, very upgradable (I've a 16Gb - 4.5 hours worth SDHC card £20), you can recharge or buy batteries if they run out.

I bought this to take video of my son's golf swing so I could send it to his instructor. For this it works great! It's really easy to plug it into my Mac after a round or practice session and get all the video into iPhoto.

The Kodak Zi6 HD Pocket Video Camera follows in the footsteps of the Flip series of small, pocketable video cameras. In many cases the Zi6 ups the ante in this area however. With a significantly larger LCD screen as compared to the Flip series, your eyes will be much happier.

The zi6 represents my second foray into the tiny camcorder field. I was happy to find that it was very easy to transfer the videos to my PC, something the first camera lacked. This is the third Kodak product that I have owned, and I have been very happy with all of them.

Like many inexpensive competitors, the Kodak Zi6 is technically an HD camcorder the way a tomato is technically a fruit: it meets the definition, but doesn't deliver the experience.
