The Kodak Zi6’s features and frame-rate options are superb for a pocket camcorder, but video quality is a shade below the competition.

Kodak's Zi6 predates the ZX1 by a few months. It offers the advantage of an SDHC slot, plus 128MB of internal memory.

The zi6 represents my second foray into the tiny camcorder field. I was happy to find that it was very easy to transfer the videos to my PC, something the first camera lacked. This is the third Kodak product that I have owned, and I have been very happy with all of them.

From the front yard to the playing field, the Kodak Zi6 Pocket Video Camera stood above the rest for its outdoor video quality, which blew the other models away with its clarity and crispness.

I bought this to take video of my son's golf swing so I could send it to his instructor. For this it works great! It's really easy to plug it into my Mac after a round or practice session and get all the video into iPhoto.

Before I start. I don't really know a great deal about the technical side of this camera. If you need to know the specs, you can get that from the manufacturers website or on Play.com. That is where I bought mine from. I paid about ￡120 for mine but it is now down to ￡99.99.

I got this camera for xmas. I asked for the hand-held HD camcorder but after doing the research found this would give you near the same video quality for a much cheaper price! I am very pleased! If you use the HD cables n watch the videos on your HDTV the image comes out stunningly clear!

I have had my Zi6 for 5 years now. It works great and no problems. I do not have any battery issues since I started putting in the lithium AA batteries in back in 2009. The lithium AA last a very very long time.
