Kobo is taking the ebook reader somewhere it's never been before: Your bathtub. The new Kobo Aura H2O is in many ways the same device as last year's excellent Aura HD , but with one very important change: The Aura H2O is waterproof, so you can read worry-free while in the tub or at the beach.
Pros:

- Sharp screen
- Bright edge lighting
- Fast page turns
- Lots of storage and supported file types
- Plenty of font customization options
Cons:

Pricier than Amazon's Kindle Paperwhite, the H2O packs a larger, sharper display-and it's waterproof. Serious e-readers will like it for reading in the bath or at the beach, but know that it's a premium-price device, with full-color Android tablets right on its heels.
Pros:
- Waterproof
- within limits
- Brighter
- whiter screen with built-in lighting
- Display is big
- at 6.8 inches
- Light for its size
- Superb font controls and onscreen keyboard
- EPub support
- Expandable storage
Cons:
- Price is high
- versus Kindle Paperwhite and many compact Android tablets

Kobo Aura H2O review
The Kobo Aura H2O is the latest e-reader from the veteran reading slate maker , and it's aiming to be the ultimate companion to stick in your bag for when you jet off on holiday. Kobo Aura H2O review
Does an ereader need to be waterproof? Since Sony made its Xperia devices waterproof it was only a matter of time before this impressively practical approach hit every other gadget and where better to get your feet wet than with an ereader?
The Kobo Aura H2O is a solid e-reader choice, boosted by its top-notch screen, excellent build quality and waterproof skills that make it the ideal poolside reader, but its ecosystem pales in comparison to Amazon's Kindle.
Pros:
- Kobo's range of Aura e-readers have had a certain premium quality to them, and that continues with the Aura H2O, which as the name suggests, arrives with waterproof skills
- Like Sony's range of Xperia phones and tablets , the Aura H2O is IP67 certified, meaning it can take a dunk in one metre of...
Cons:
- The Aura H2O is a solidly built reader with a grippy plastic texture to it
- and the strange
- 3D-esque asymmetrical design on the back makes a return
- but that makes it a bit bulkier than Amazon's Paperwhite
- which also weighs slightly less.

Kobo Aura H20
For those looking for a book reader then the AuraH20 from Kobo could well be something to consider. The bright white background makes it seem just like what one used to take off the bookshelf to read, the main advantage is that text size can suit your eyesight.

Good concept but stopped working.
I received my Kobo H2O as a gift and I loved it at first! Unfortunately, the screen recently froze and then my ereader stopped working completely. It won't turn on, it won't charge, it won't respond when plugged into my computer, and it won't reset.
