Knack really surprised me this is a really fun and addictive game. The moment I started playing knack I was completely hooked this is really an incredible game. Why knack got so many mixed reviews is beyond me. Knack is a fun and adorable gaming experience

Knack

Knack is Sony's answer to how the PS4 can appeal to younger children from day one. Chances are that if a parent is purchasing a PS4 for the little one at Christmas, it will most likely be bought with Knack.

'Knack' reviewed: Harder than it looks

, a character questions whether it's a good idea to bring the titular hero on a military mission, claiming that Knack looks too delicate for combat. Full of bravado, Knack immediately says that he'll prove his worth by going through a combat-heavy obstacle course.

Knack review

Knack can be a fun platformer … when it's not punishing you for being any good at it. It can take around 10 hours to get through its campaign, and a lot of the time it does a really good job of making big, powerful Knack a real treat to enjoy.

+ Knack is a treat to control when big; + Nice; lush environments; + Challenging in an old-school way

- Combat can feel restrictive; - Story is non-existent; - Checkpoint system may frustrate

Well-realized environments that you want to exist in

Little variety to distract from the nonstop fighting; Even enlarging Knack or turning him invisible doesn't change the action; Artificial environments and enemy interactions; Tiresome combat with a meager move set

The game made for no one.

Although my tastes don't always sync up with others', it's easy to understand the appeal of genres that don't grab me. Racers let players go fast in expensive cars, shooters turn virtual killing into high-energy action, and so on. In most games, the intentions of the designers are generally obvious.

Growing to giant size in the final level

Getting tired of the gameplay with two thirds left to go

Sony's PlayStation 4 adventure aims to be simple and accessible, but it overshoots the mark to land at simplistic and uninteresting. I mean, it's not literally about cussing. You won't hear a single coarse word throughout the entirety of the adventure, whose story has been conspicuously crafted in...
