I'm a beginner player (i'm a 30 yo female :D) and this game is so fun to play. Easy enough for me to not give up but hard enough to make me feel challenged.

Not a lot of freedom of choice, very directed experience. Bug and crash free for my kids experience, though, that's always something, especially these days. It gets pretty boring for adults when playing with kids, though.
Great for kids around 6-10
My 12 year old son played it and finished the game in about a day
Perhaps the only thing worse than a new IP that is hyped and turns out to be a dud (we're looking at you, Aliens: Colonial Marines) is one that promises to be fantastic, actually is pretty good, and then gets unjustly panned.
Innovative elements and ideas; Endearing main character; Game mixes and matches up locales and Knack's abilities; Plenty to find and collect
One or two tedious levels; Some repetitive audio scoring; Simplistic attacks leave room for improvement
Wanna know the worst PS4 game out? It's this game.
If you haven't heard the name Mark Cerny, you've definitely seen and played the games he has worked on and consulted for with franchises including Crash Bandicoot, God of War and Uncharted all enjoying his contributions and insights.
The shipment was fine, but this game is not that good, if you're less than 18 years old it can be fun, but still it's hard. The graphics are fine, the game has beautiful colors.
As I mentioned earlier I don't think Knack is a bad game, it's just not really a game that shows off the PS4 to its full capabilities. Granted it is also repetitive and frustrating at times (because of the rinse and repeat side of things when you die), but then if you are not a hardened gamer and...
I really enjoyed Knack. The game is the first of its series I wanted to see what it was like, if a 2nd part was to come out I would purchase it too.

Bright and colourful; Easy to control; Katamari-style growing hero; Crisp and clean 1080p visuals
Cheap enemies; Way too repetitious; Dull characters; Strange art style
I don't know why this game received all of the bad reviews from critics but let me say this game is pretty awesome. Beautiful graphics and simple gameplay that you can get addicted to within a matter of seconds.
