Pros: Shiiiny graphiiiics.... and the combat can be a barrel of button-mashing fun when its at its best. Cons: The other half of the time, it can make you want to snap your controller in half; too little platforming; no replay value.

Playing is like watching a dull movie on a plane – it's tolerable if all you want is a way to pass the time, but it's not something you'd seek out for its own sake. I finished in about 11 hours and, challenges, co-op, and secrets aside, there's just not much here worth recommending.

With the introduction of each new generation of console I'm always excited to see the first release for each genre type, especially when that game is a first-part title as is the case with Knack.

The launch lineup for new consoles is rarely that extensive. You can't really make a masterpiece with a tight deadline and unfamiliar hardware as your chief motivators. Killzone: Shadow Fall did of course prove that even in a hurry, you can make something wonderful looking for the PS4.

Knack is a competent throwback to the golden age of the platform genre, but certainly not a giant leap forward.

The shipment was fine, but this game is not that good, if you're less than 18 years old it can be fun, but still it's hard. The graphics are fine, the game has beautiful colors.

How many children have imagined what it would feel like to play the hero in an animated movie? A creature that can grow in size and strength through a strange and mysterious relic system and save the budding human race from all manner of evil, including of course other humans?

As one of two flagship exclusive launch titles for the PlayStation 4 (the other being Killzone: Shadow Fall ), Knack has a lot of expectation to live up to as a definitive "next-gen" (now current-gen) experience. Console launches, however, are notorious for being a breeding ground of mediocrity.
