Unusable!

I have used many types of Kingston brand memory over the years with no trouble at all including 5 of their 16gb class 10 sdhc cards for my 60D camera. Unfortunately the "CF/16GB-U2" Compactflash has been a glaring exception. My Windows 7 PC would not read the 2 recently purchased cards at all.

Wrong product was purchased

I purchased a Compact Flash memory card Kingston 64GB 266X U2, not supported by Nikons DSLR Camera D810. When contacted Adorama, they said they will neither accept it for a return nor for an exchange. Of course, the package was opened.

Slow

Even my Sandisk Ultra II (100X) card was faster than this one.

Kingston claims this card is SLC with wear leveling

This card is slow; I could not get above 6 megabytes/sec; That is the equivalent of 40X, NOT 266X; I tried firewire, usb 2.0, CF to IDE adapter, and 32-bit cardbus adapter

Great so far

Does what I needed it to. Needed more storage for a reasonable price, and this fits the bill perfectly.

Great so far; needed more storage; and this is doing the job well

Good Product

This card does not work with a Kodak DC215. I was told by a Kodak rep it would but I think the 4GBs is too large for the camera to process. It does format but quits halfway through it.

good if you want an inexpensive card

revovery to next picture to take is slow, so I would not use it for consecutive action shots... good for when time is not a factor between pictures... the price is excellent for this type of card...

This card records images from my camera. It is important to me to have great quality. This compactflash card fits the bill. I will be purchasing a few more.

"Reliable and safe device"

I have been trusting Kingston as a brand for my memory needs for a number of years now and never had any issues. In the middle of last year I needed a decent size flash memory card so turned to Kingston as I knew I could rely on them… so after some research it was the Kingston Ultimate 600x 16 GB...

Reliable and safe

works well

Not too big.

Sure you can get bigger memory cards but this one will hold plenty of pictures for a shoot. The problem with big cards I've found is there are so many to wade through whenever the camera is connected to the PC. Just back them up and you're good to go again. Card is plenty fast for a DSLR.

Good until it went bad

Bought this card earlier this year (Feb 3, 2015 to be exact) and this past weekend it found its way to the bottom of my camera bag only to be used in an ememgency situtation. Only 8 months old and its already corrupt and will not save some of the images i take.
