Not too big.

Sure you can get bigger memory cards but this one will hold plenty of pictures for a shoot. The problem with big cards I've found is there are so many to wade through whenever the camera is connected to the PC. Just back them up and you're good to go again. Card is plenty fast for a DSLR.

Good Product

This card does not work with a Kodak DC215. I was told by a Kodak rep it would but I think the 4GBs is too large for the camera to process. It does format but quits halfway through it.

This card records images from my camera. It is important to me to have great quality. This compactflash card fits the bill. I will be purchasing a few more.

Kingston Compact Flash 8 Gb

Eccellente per l'uso che ne faccio io, acquisisce foto velocemnte e cosa da non sottovalutare, l'ho pagato molto meno di altre 8Gb. Si, la ricomprerei!

"Reliable and safe device"

I have been trusting Kingston as a brand for my memory needs for a number of years now and never had any issues. In the middle of last year I needed a decent size flash memory card so turned to Kingston as I knew I could rely on them… so after some research it was the Kingston Ultimate 600x 16 GB...

Unusable!

I have used many types of Kingston brand memory over the years with no trouble at all including 5 of their 16gb class 10 sdhc cards for my 60D camera. Unfortunately the "CF/16GB-U2" Compactflash has been a glaring exception. My Windows 7 PC would not read the 2 recently purchased cards at all.

Slow

Even my Sandisk Ultra II (100X) card was faster than this one.

Kingston claims this card is SLC with wear leveling

This card is slow; I could not get above 6 megabytes/sec; That is the equivalent of 40X, NOT 266X; I tried firewire, usb 2.0, CF to IDE adapter, and 32-bit cardbus adapter

Kingston's 4 GB CompactFlash Card: Fast and Big

You can't imagine the excitement I felt when my wife handed me the package that the courier dropped off and I saw it was from Kingston. I quickly ripped it open and feasted my eyes on the most beautiful sight: a CompactFlash card with the letters 4 GB stamped on it.

Best Flash Memory Card I Own

Through a mix-up I was inadvertantly sent the wrong flash memory card, but the error was corrected immediately. I love the speed of this 8 GB card. I have other cards as back-ups, but this is the one I now use almost all the time.

Kingston 8GB Ultimate 266x CompactFlash Card Review

With Digital SLR cameras coming down in price, many consumers are looking at these cameras versus the old point and shoot style.  Many of the new digital SLR cameras don't come with a memory card, so consumers purchasing a SLR camera will also need to pick up a memory card.  Canon and Nikon are the
