I recently got an M1 MacBook Pro and I really needed a useful storage device for video editing that wasn't a big clunky external hard drive. When I got this I thought it could not work for me but OH BOY did it work. It transfers very quickly, not amazingly of course but still great for a little USB, the USB C male connector is great for use without adaptors. My only complaint is that the keyring fell of but this is not really a problem for me
