Kingston HyperX 64GB DataTraveler 3.0 review

Kingston's HyperX brand strikes gold with this USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Large capacity for a USB thumb drive; Very fast; Robust design

Bulky case can make plugging it in tricky; Cap could be easily lost

Kingston DataTraveler 300

The DataTraveler 300 is – for now – the world's most capacious USB flash drive. At 256GB it's not quite as generous as the name suggests (especially as only 238GB of that is usable), but it's still bigger than many hard disks and should certainly cover your file-transportation needs for the...

Taking the DataTraveler Route : Kingston DataTraveler Secure DataTraveler ReadyFlash USB Flash

While the security features offered by the DataTraveler Secure offering are useful, they do come at a price premium.  So, unless security is a paramount issue, I would recommend the DataTraveler ReadyFlash for most users.  It is one third the price and performed slightly better in my tests.

Fast, simple, excellent design

This USB drive is of a metal construction and is extremely small and sleek. The performance is fast for day to day use, including transferring work documents. It is also extremely fast for transferring larger video and photo files. This USB is easy to carry and looks great!

Good product

Exactly as described.  Good product.  Can't think of anything else to say about this.   It's what it says on the tin at a good price.

A must have for any computer user! A perfect easy to use and reliable storage solution!

Seeing as I am studying various media courses at university, I am constantly needing to have various digital resources with me at all times. Carrying my laptop or macbook around is an option but using a flash drive is a lot easier and more practical.

Stopped working after not much use.

Maybe I got a rear duff one, maybe I didn't

It would be very good if it hadn't have stopped working

Got it from 'TechNextDay' to plug into my stereo so it could play mp3 files of it; I filled it up quite a bit; Was working fine doing this; Then I decided to put an an extra album on there; This sort of worked fine; The tracks were mixed up in there order for some strange reason.

Compact and good

It's great that it comes with USB 3.0 with 2.0 usablity. 64 Gb is quite decent storage, there is not cover to the usb so be careful to use it. Price is also good,I find it cheaper here than Nehru Place in Delhi.

Sloooooooooow

I didn't even know they still made devices this slow. I'd say to get really anything else. We just got it as a cheap storage thing for my mum but it takes so long to take any data transfer that even she doesn't have the patience for it. Seriously opening a saved text doc is painful.

small; cheap

Slow; like USB 1 slow
