La clé n'a fonctionné qu'environ une semaine, j'ai perdu toutes les données conservées dessus. Impossible de la reformater à nouveau après deux défaillance elle est devenu inutilisable.
It's a decent price for a 16GB USB drive and it has a nice swiveling metal cover. Now for the bad. Although it does what it is supposed to do, I, like many others who have purchased this particular USB flash drive, found that when compared to other USB 2.0 entry level flash drives, it is...
So starting another year of university and I felt I needed a new memory stick to be able to quickly store, organise and have another memory to store anything I would need for my course. I was looking around my local computer store and came across this.
While not the fastest USB 3.0 drive, Kingston DT Ultimate 3.0 is very tempting with killer warranty and enough speed to satisfy most customers' needs. If you don't mind giving up some read speed for longevity, then it may just be right up your alley.
Stylish good looks in a retro chic kinda way; Decent read performance with good write performance; LED indicator is not annoyingly bright; Great 5 year warranty; No software needed to get the most from it; Uses default MS drivers; Y adapter included for increased compatibility with USB 2.0 systems
Pricey for the speed it offers; May block USB ports to either side of it; Requires USB 3.0 to get the most from it; Will more than likely NEED the Y adapter for hassle-free USB 2.0 connectivity
But my big complaint is that they seemed to have changed the interior design a bit. The drives I just got no longer have an LED to indicate activity. I needed this and assumed that since the first box had this, the rest would too. I was mistaken. I am NOT happy about this.
Works well for the price
I have bought two boxes of these (25 in each) separated by a couple of months; The first drive I tried died in a few minutes.
The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 is a chunky USB 3.0 thumbdrive with a good turn of speed and capacity up to 64GB
The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 is a chunky USB 3.0 thumbdrive with a good turn of speed and capacity up to 64GB
Significantly faster than USB 2.0 flash drives
A little on the chunky side; doesn't realise the full potential of USB 3.0
Pull out all your awkward questions, because simple answers are the only response you will get. Putting the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 G2 and G3 side by side, it is amazing how one product generation can change so much. This is not an evolution from its predecessor.
How much faster can USB 3 really be?
