Kingston SV300S37A/240G SSDNOW V300 240GB SATA/600 Internal Solid State Drive

This solid State Drive is proving to be a good investment because it's speed has sure increased the reaction time for my Lap Top. To date I have no negative criticisms.

Just as you rise you shall fall because the only guarantees in life are death and taxes. The LSI SandForce SF-2281 has reached middle age and like every mid-life crisis, things are starting to change.

Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB Solid State Drive Review

Solid State Drives are becoming the more cost effective upgrade to the traditional home computer.  Adding a solid state drive will speed up Windows boot up time, will allow your applications to load faster and make data transfers much easier.

Great performance; Accessories bundle; Price

Would have liked to see a 5 year warranty

Kingston V300 240GB

We've seen solid state drives become very popular over the last couple of years, as prices have continued to drop and consumers are taking notice of the impressive overall system boost that SSDs can offer.

Faster speeds than specification; robust accessory package; competitive price; customized controller by LSI

SandForce 2281 struggles with incompressible data; not fastest SSD on the market

I've bought about 50 120GB and maybe 10 240GB in last 2 years and I had trouble with none. Maybe there is faster models, but the performance is very good for the price. A core i5 can boot in about 27 seconds including Bios time.

Reliable and fast

Perfect for a Mac Mini 2010 upgrade

I'm currently using this in a Mac mini 2010 upgraded from the mechanical hard drive it shipped with. I was able to install Mac High Sierra on it and have no complaints. It still runs slow compared to today's technology standards but that's becuase it's an almost ten year old Mac.
