Excellent Upgrade
Bought this for a 2012 macbook pro and this breathed new life into the machine. Like night and day. Has been working for a couple of years now.

Perfect for a Mac Mini 2010 upgrade
I'm currently using this in a Mac mini 2010 upgraded from the mechanical hard drive it shipped with. I was able to install Mac High Sierra on it and have no complaints. It still runs slow compared to today's technology standards but that's becuase it's an almost ten year old Mac.

Make Sure You Factor in the Price of Cloning Software
Great SSD, but it DOES NOT COME WITH CLONING SOFTWARE! I used AOMEI Backupper Professional and used its "system clone" feature, which worked perfectly. Samsung Data Migration will not work. As far as speeds, I have a low-end Asus E5 laptop, and it's now at least 5x faster than before.

Great price for the SSD, although not the best obviously
I would recommend this to people like me that do not need all that blazing speed. It really saves up my money so that I can spend it on things that can push more frames for me in games.
Pros:
- This SSD was a massive upgrade over my HDD - I did not realize how slow it was until I got this
- And to think this is one of the slower SSDs you can find - insane
- I don't need all that cutting edge performance because I just do regular stuff like browse the web, watch Twitch/YouTube, and game (not...
Cons:
- I had this SSD for a few months and it would intermittently cause the OS to freeze, especially when starting up a VM
- Upon searching I found that there was a firmware update for the SSD - 60AABBF0.

This solid State Drive is proving to be a good investment because it's speed has sure increased the reaction time for my Lap Top. To date I have no negative criticisms.

Made my father-in-law very happy
I put this SSD in a Toshiba laptop that was annoyingly slow. Cloning was simple, the old HDD being slow made it take over an hour to transfer, but once completed I plugged this SSD into the laptop and it took off like a rocket.

I've bought about 50 120GB and maybe 10 240GB in last 2 years and I had trouble with none. Maybe there is faster models, but the performance is very good for the price. A core i5 can boot in about 27 seconds including Bios time.
