I've been using these Kingston readers for about 5 years now. I carry it on my keyring and found that they will simply stop working after a couple of years. No big deal since they are relatively inexpensive. Very handy to have a place to store data that hardly takes up any space. Highly recommended.

I purchased this because regular USB flash drives have breaking points from were the USB connector meets the circuit board were as micro SD cards are well built of one solid piece this device for the price exceeds expectations Its one solid piece and very compact.

I purchased two of these to use micro-SDs on my routers for local logging. I find them getting very hot in comparison to the ones coming in a Patriot kit. Besides that, they do the job. Hopefully they won't melt.

I bought two of these and they work great. Over time I've accumulated a number of Micro-SD cards and this was useful for turning some of them into thumb drives. They work great, and give good transfer speeds. Super useful if I don't have my full-size SD adapter handy Not very rugged though.
