Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 AF DGX 1.4x review

No reviews
Verdict: Teleconverters are a convenient way to achieve a new focal length without the cost and physical burden of a new lens, but manufacturer's own models can be fairly pricey. Canon's current 1.4x Extender costs an eye-watering £450, while Nikon's equivalent is priced at around £300.

Works well with D3400 and AF-P 70-300 mm VR

5.0
Verdict: Excellent picture quality and focus through the zoom range using the view finder and the VR functioned flawlessly hand-held--overcast and in the woods. Used Automatic and Speed priority settings only. The D3400 would not function (take picture) in Live View mode.

Very good performance for the price

4.0
Verdict: I've done a number of test shots with this extender with 24-105 and 100-400 lenses on a full format EOS 6D. Very good, considering the price. You have to mount the extender on the lens first, and then on the camera (camera must be switched off).
