hat a pleasure to find an inexpensive component that excites a high-end reviewer. And a product from KEF! KEF Chorales were the first decent speakers I owned. Modestly priced, high performance, utterly reliable, what's not to like

Streaming wireless speakers abound in the market, but the compact KEF LSX is something special.
I'm hardly alone in admiring KEF's outstanding LS50 Wireless stereo-speakers-cum-entire-wireless-system. Ever since its launch in 2016, reviewers have been queuing up to pay homage and customers to pay the £2k asking price. In hi-fi terms, the LS50 Wireless is a classic-in-waiting.
Good build and finish in a number of colours; Great wireless stability; Excellent sound from any number of sources
Short of outright scale and dynamism; More apps than should be necessary
The KEF LSX is a two way active speaker with decoding on board. Until comparatively recently, KEF was, barring a subwoofer amp here and there, content...
Sounds absolutely superb; Great piece of industrial design; Useful spread of inputs
App is sluggish and unresponsive; Sample rates restricted over wireless; Might benefit from Tidal Masters support
The KEF LSX Wireless Music System offer a lot of bang for a lot of bucks. But regardless of price, the sound quality is hard to beat with any speakers...
Exquisite sound quality; Exceptional build quality; Beautiful design
No automatic wake up and source selection upon signal detection; IEC 320 C5 AC power connector; not 320 C13
Hi usually don't submit reviews and these are the first pair of expensive speakers I've purchased. First I'd say, if you get a "good" pair they are incredible. I have them hooked up to a computer through a USB to SPDIF convertor and they are great for near field listening.
Great Sound
Horrible App and Setup Inconsistent
I am really enjoying these speakers. I have high end audio speakers in several rooms, but I had been using a cheaper Bluetooth speaker in my small office. I decided to upgrade but I didn't want the complexity of an amplifier and passive speakers.
Overall, I'm a huge fan of the KEF LSX and, yes, I'm aware they're costly, at one pound short of a grand. But, in the context of rivals such as the Mu-so, their larger and more expensive siblings, the LS50 Wireless, and more traditional Hi-Fi streaming products they're actually pretty good value.
Rich; muscular and detailed sound; Incredible looks; Immersive soundstage; Superb connectivity and app support
Ethernet link required for reliable connection; No digital assistant
We previously reviewed the KEF LS50W wireless speaker system and, like everyone else, came away very impressed with it. At $2,200 it was a high price point for many people, and the speakers are also quite large.
Flat-out fantastic sound in a compact package; easy to setup; able to produce a huge soundstage and good bass
No IR learning capability; some of the colors might not be for everyone
Great little speakers they do produce great sound and deep base all from such a little box. I got that white speakers and the little touch as the power cable and remote were white I loved LS50 wireless coming next. Very pleased
