As much as any year in recent memory, 2015 has seen a constant stream of openworld games. Writing as a player who tends to get openworld fatigue on a regular basis, this barrage of big maps and "player freedom" can be trouble.

Is 20 hours of sheer carnage worth the price of admission? It's not going to be anyone's game of the year and it'll quickly be forgotten as many of its better ideas are aped more successfully by next year's crop of games, but for now it's probably the most fun open world in 2015, even if it's about...
Went wrong somewhere along the line. The original idea might have promise, but in practice the game has failed. Threatens to be interesting sometimes, but rarely.
Rico Rodriguez comes home in Just Cause 3, bringing revolution and his arsenal of devastating toys to the island nation of Medici. Sebastiano Di Ravello may keep his citizenry under tight control, but Rico's been through this before.
This game is just mindless destruction with an arsenal of usual, and unusual weapons. If you love blowing stuff up, doing over the top stunts and just generally messing around then this game is for you, because that's all this game is.
Just Cause 3 is a tough game to review. At its core, it's a formula for fun, and fun is exactly what I had playing it. Just Cause 3 puts you once again in the drivers seat of Spiderman… I mean Rico Rodriguez, the handsome, grizzled facial haired superhuman that is capable of absorbing more bullets...
Just Cause 3 is the latest installment in the action/adventure series, and takes open world freedom to new heights.
I've enjoyed Just Cause 3 , got bored, and got into it again in the space of 30 hours. The story missions are poor, and the structure is very repetitive, but there's no better way to destroy an enticing world.
+ Destruction physics are amazing; + Variety of ways to kill enemies; + Wing suit is great; grapple still awesome; + Still got it: pure ridiculousness
- Story is awful; - Extremely repetitive objectives; - Frame rate issues (Xbox One; - Poor shooter mechanics; - Totally reliant on making your own fun
This game has come a long way from previous Just Cause games. The world (which is Medici,Italy) seems a lot more bigger and interactive than JC2. The story is not bad either. You have to liberate many bases, cities, outposts etc. You can drive anything from sports cars to tanks and fighter jets.
When the action gets hot, the PS4 and Xbox One can't deliver the performance Just Cause 3 needs to be fun.
