Just Cause 3 is a tough game to review. At its core, it's a formula for fun, and fun is exactly what I had playing it. Just Cause 3 puts you once again in the drivers seat of Spiderman… I mean Rico Rodriguez, the handsome, grizzled facial haired superhuman that is capable of absorbing more bullets...

Please, make it stop

Went wrong somewhere along the line. The original idea might have promise, but in practice the game has failed. Threatens to be interesting sometimes, but rarely.

Just Cause 3 Review

Is 20 hours of sheer carnage worth the price of admission? It's not going to be anyone's game of the year and it'll quickly be forgotten as many of its better ideas are aped more successfully by next year's crop of games, but for now it's probably the most fun open world in 2015, even if it's about...

Just Cause 3

As much as any year in recent memory, 2015 has seen a constant stream of openworld games. Writing as a player who tends to get openworld fatigue on a regular basis, this barrage of big maps and "player freedom" can be trouble.

Viva La Revolution

Rico Rodriguez comes home in Just Cause 3, bringing revolution and his arsenal of devastating toys to the island nation of Medici. Sebastiano Di Ravello may keep his citizenry under tight control, but Rico's been through this before.

Xbox One Review: Just Cause 3

It seems like forever since we last saw Rico Rodriguez, it was actually way back in 2010 when Just Cause 2 launched. The sequel had improved upon the original, but was the same high-octane lunacy that it began.

"Just Cause hits the nail for the third time"

This year marks the release of the third video game in the Just Cause game series. I was looking forward to this one after the polarizing second game, which I didn't like that much. It was good, but I didn't see much improvement comparing it to Just Cause, the first game.
Pros:
  • great campaign
  • memorable missions
  • the vast sandbox
Cons:
  • multiplayer
  • expected graphics

I love this game.

This game is just mindless destruction with an arsenal of usual, and unusual weapons. If you love blowing stuff up, doing over the top stunts and just generally messing around then this game is for you, because that's all this game is.

Game Review: Just Cause 3

" F$%k you missile! ", Rico shouted with his gruff European accent. He was hundreds of feet up in the air, riding a goddamned missile headed for the rebels he was a part of. I was on the edge of my seat, clutching the controller tightly in my hands.
Pros:
  • Outstanding Graphics
  • Engaging Gameplay
  • Great Attention to Detail
  • Amazing Music By Henry Jackman
  • Clever Writing
  • DAVID TENNANT
Cons:
  • Excessive Load Times Occasionally
  • Upgrades Locked Behind Challenges
