Great scent. I am very picky and this is one of two scents I buy (the other is Polo Black by Ralph Lauren).
Only issue is it wears off quickly. So it's not "overpowering," but it doesn't hold long.

My husband sampled this cologne in a department store and he loved it. I ordered this gift set for him for Father's Day. Great price considering it comes with a travel spray. He has been using the metal box to keep samples and other small toiletries organized.

It's not bad, the reviews suggested it was excellent however the smell is not as strong as I would like although it does smell nice. I prefer a stronger smell like boss or paco. But this is decent so don't be put off especially when the price is great.

Fellows!!! This is it/The One!!!! I'm very excited about this sexy-scent from John Varvatos! In the description, Artisan is noted as being invigorating, woody and citrus. It's definitely all that and then some! Since purchasing a 2.5oz bottle, I've gotten compliments from both men and women.

Got this for my dad as a father's day gift & he absolutely love it. It originally came in a sample size with other Ulta purchases. I'm not a guy so I had no use for it. Gave it to my dad and he used the sample size bottle completely within a week so it was a must to give him the actual size.

... It's a light sweet almost fruity smell. Not super fruity, but more of a feminine scent than a strong yucky odor that a lot of mens' colognes have seemed to stray towards...

I ordered this cologne for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it. I also love it. It smells great! The bottle is pretty cool too!

Too Expensive

PROS: It's one of my favorite scents. I bought this from Nordstrom in 2016 and am still using it. It's good for the office and also at night. It never changes into a different smell later in the day. It's made in USA. CONS: Although I loved the scent, I wondered if anyone else ever did.

[short review] This John Varvatos EDT is full of happy contradictions: bold and relaxed; subtle and sophisticated; masculine but delicate; day elegance and night sensuality. There is a couple of notes - fig/fig leaves and Tamarind - that blended with plum, tobacco, leather, thyme, amber, vanilla and...

The scent is really beautiful, but doesn't last as expected.
