The Jawbone Jambox became one of the first big-name portable Bluetooth speakers when it debuted in 2011. Jawbone supersized it the following year and introduced the larger, more expensive Big Jambox. And now the company is going the other way: the new Mini Jambox is, as you can guess, a Bluetooth speaker that's about half the size of the original. In fact, the $179.99 rechargeable isn't much larger than an iPhone.

While you'll pay a premium for it, the Jawbone Mini Jambox is the best-sounding and best-designed micro wireless speaker.

The Jawbone Mini Jambox is a tiny wireless speaker that's beautifully designed with a single aluminum enclosure; Nearly half the size of the original Jambox, it sounds better and plays slightly louder; And it has a built-in speakerphone and its voice prompts can be customized by connecting the speaker to your computer (the speaker's firmware can also be updated).

Fairly expensive; no protective cover or pouch included; it sounds good for its size, but it doesn't sound spectacular.

The mini jambox has outstanding sound. Its modern design is fun to look at and the color is luscious (I have the red). I especially like using the jambox with my cellphone. It picks up my voice very well and I can easily hear the caller.

I have had a jawbone mini jam box for three years now and it still holds charge and sounds just as good! These things can last forever and keep the same quality. It has accompanied me on many beach trips!

I love these Mini Jamboxes! I've bought almost a dozen now... It is a piece of art, so not impervious to scratches and damage to the beautiful aluminum case... so keep it indoors and if in a car or anywhere else, I'd recommend a case. Just those $11 cases on ebay will do...

I am very satisfied with this speaker as it provides a large volume of sound for such a small device.But I'm writing this review for the model number issue of this device. Staples site states that this device has the model number of "41276SPR", but the model ID engraved at the bottom of the device...

Got the mini jam box in silver for my birthday. Awesome sound quality, has little "studs" on the bottom so it won't vibrate when you set it down on any surface really. If using your phone you can also take calls on it (crystal clear) and talk to siri.

Bought this for a Christmas Gift to pair with my Son's new iPad Air. Unbelievable sound from such a little box. Easy to use and very portable. Lives up to it's recommendations! I shopped around and compared other Bluetooth speakers - this one is highly rated. A well deserved rating A+!

It's another tour de force from Jawbone. Did you really think it would be anything less? You could argue that it should be a little cheaper, but the bonus features, the classy design and the incredibly convenient size and battery life easily make it all worthwhile once paired with the ludicrously...
