Jawbone Mini Jambox

The Jawbone Jambox was one of the first really successful portable Bluetooth speakers . Jawbone made it larger with the Big Jambox , and now there's the smaller Mini Jambox ($179.99 direct). This sleeker version of the Jambox is thinner, lighter, and just as stylish, but smaller means less power.

Well-designed, sturdy; Incredibly small and light.

Expensive; Doesn't get very loud; Nearly non-existent bass

The Jawbone Mini Jambox is very small. This portable speaker weighs in at just 0.56 pounds. It is only 6 inches long, 2.9 inches tall and 0.96 inches thick. If you really wanted to, you could put the Mini Jambox in your pocket.

This speaker is incredibly small and looks great

The sound quality is subpar

Jawbone Mini Jambox review

The Mini might not be for everyone, but at the very least it's a clear improvement over the original Jambox for the same price.

Elegant design; Sturdy build quality; Impressive battery life; Improved Jawbone app works with Spotify; Rdio and iTunes

Limited volume; Annoying firmware update process; Overall package trails some competitors

Jawbone Mini Jambox Review

Bluetooth headset connoisseur, Jawbone , is the company behind one of the most influential portable speakers ever made. It's also the company that's behind some of the best looking wireless speakers to ever hit the mainstream audio market.

Jawbone Mini Jambox: Skinny Speaker, Hefty Sound

Jawbone did a lot to establish the wireless-speaker category with its Jambox , capturing tons of market share in a short amount of time. Since then, though, the category has gotten massively competitive, with impressive offerings from the likes of Beats and Bose .

Small in size but big in sound

The mini jambox has outstanding sound. Its modern design is fun to look at and the color is luscious (I have the red). I especially like using the jambox with my cellphone. It picks up my voice very well and I can easily hear the caller.

Compact Design; Easy To Use; Great Sound Quality

Sexiest Sounding & looking speaker

I love these Mini Jamboxes! I've bought almost a dozen now... It is a piece of art, so not impervious to scratches and damage to the beautiful aluminum case... so keep it indoors and if in a car or anywhere else, I'd recommend a case. Just those $11 cases on ebay will do...

Incorrect Model #?

I am very satisfied with this speaker as it provides a large volume of sound for such a small device. But I'm writing this review for the model number issue of this device. Staples site states that this device has the model number of "41276SPR", but the model ID engraved at the bottom of the device...

Great Gift

Got the mini jam box in silver for my birthday. Awesome sound quality, has little "studs" on the bottom so it won't vibrate when you set it down on any surface really. If using your phone you can also take calls on it (crystal clear) and talk to siri.
