The Jabra Vox are certainly quite stylish headphones, and the fact that they're virtually tangle-free make them an absolute godsend. But its reliance on a separate app and slightly underwhelming bass performance won't quite cut it with audio enthusiasts.

Even though large, on- or over-ear headphones are great to rock out with; there are those times when it's simply easier to have a pair of compact earbuds. Travel and outside use come to mind first, especially if you're looking to pack light.

The Jabra Vox in-ear headphones look great and are conveniently portable and comfortable to wear, but at this price we'd expect stronger audio. We're also concerned about the headphones falling out of our ears during exercise, and they seem a little fragile.

Jabra is a company that we are very familiar with, thanks to its excellent line of bluetooth handsfree headsets. But it has recently made the quite logical jump into headphones with a series of products announced during Mobile World Congress.

For those who don't want to wear a big honkin' pair of headphones, the Jabra Vox are a discreet, stylish pair of earbuds that deliver audio greater than their size. Add to that a free Jabra app lets you tweak your music settings, in-line controls and a mic, and you've got a nice little $99 package...

Last week we reviewed Jabra's new Revo Wireless Headphones. ( Read the review .) These on-the-ear headphones are comfortable, durable and sound terrific. Jabra is also releasing a corded version of the Revo headphones as well as the upcoming Jabra Vox in-ear corded earphones.

Great build quality; Earbuds are quite comfortable; Inline control adjusts volume and lets you play/pause and skip both forward and back; Magnets keep the tangle free cable even more tangle free; Very good audio quality

Jabra Sound App and iOS do not play well together; Magnets keep cable tangle free but would be better if they also held cables behind your ear during use

The overall sound quality from the Jabra Vox is very good and will please many through and through. It handily blows low-end earbuds away. I like the top-notch durability, the design, and the hassle-free fit. But while the Vox has a lot going for it, a few things keep it from being a "perfect" pair.

I bought these 06/2015 after about two months one of the aluminum pieces fell off no big deal they still worked fine and the sounds was good. In 11/2016 one the ear buds quit working I used them daily at the gym but did not abuse them in anyway.
