Jabra Sport Pulse Review

The Jabra Sport Pulse wireless earbuds have a built-in heart rate sensor and good sound quality; however, they are pricy and don't keep a strong seal.

The sound quality is strong

At just five hours; this pair of earbuds has the shortest battery life of all we tested

Jabra Sport Pulse Wireless

The Jabra Sport Pulse Wireless are a pair of wireless in-ear headphones that have one special trick – the ability to monitor your heart rate through your ears. Joining the LG Heart Rate earphones in the bid to banish chest straps and dedicated sports watches, the Pulse are priced at £199, so they're...

Comfortable and secure fit; Accurate heart tracking; Great companion app; Useful voice prompts

Very expensive; Bigger battery life would be nice; Slightly inconsistent experience across Android and iOS apps

It took me a good 3 hours, a lot of restarts, and some good self control to have these bad guys paired with my Pixel 3. I own all kind of Bluetooth gadgets and headphones so it's definitely not a user issue here. Worse, once paired, heart rate pick up is completely random.

Great headphones, but expensive

I've been playing with these quite a lot and I'm really pleased with them. I think the sound quality is great and it has enough bass without it being too over powering. Out of the box your get a range of fittings to make sure you get a snug comfortable fit And a USB cable.

Great sound, integrates with my endomondo

The sound from my music is so much better than it was from my old iPhone headphones. The integrated heart rate monitor completes my sport activity monitoring and integrated with emdomondo tracker.

Jabra Pulse Bluetooth Headphones

I've really enjoyed using the Jabra Pulse headphones. They serve a small purpose in my life (during the walk to work and runs), but they're an absolutely great choice for anyone looking for a versatile pair of headphones. You can purchase the Jabra Pulse headphones on Amazon for about $176.

Great; comfortable design; heartrate monitor is accurate; decent sound; many sizes of ear tips

After 2 years of use they are still working with good quality.

I got these as a gift and after 2 years of use I am very happy with them. They are comfortable to use and the sound quality is relatively good, with noise cancelation being okay. I have had issues with the mic being too sensitive but overall it works really well.

Jabra Pulse review: Heart-rate monitor earphones put a virtual personal trainer in your ears

Jabra isn't new to the Bluetooth earphones game, but it's a company leading the way. The Jabra Pulse is a fine example: more than just a pair of wireless sports earphones, it's also an advanced personal trainer that tracks your heart rate and blood oxygen levels.

Heart-rate monitor and VO2 measure for personal training; great app; open ecosystem; fits well; great audio; ample battery; wireless

Battery life could be even better; can't be used as passive earphones due to wireless nature; no Windows Phone app (yet
