Jabra Elite 85h

Jabra headphones have a reputation as phones you wear while doing something energetic, rather than phones that deliver premium audio quality.  Jabra Elite 85H headphones might change that perception.

Better sound through SmartSound

Jabra describes their SmartSound technology as an "adaptive audio experience", and this feature accounts for the enhanced sound in Elite 85H headphones. SmartSound automatically analyses your sound environment, be it in public, in private, or during a commute, and applies the right settings to give you a deeply satisfying music experience.

Clear as crystal

Customised music settings let you hear the sort of sound you want to hear, while enhanced music clarity and purpose-built speakers deliver your preferred audio better than ever before.

Awesome battery power

On-going battery life is essential in any mobile device, and in Jabra Elite 85H headphones you get up to 32 hours of battery power on a single charge...more than enough!

A big NO to noise

Smart Active Noise Cancellation automatically turns itself on when background sounds threaten to impede on your listening experience or your enjoyment of the quiet life.

The Jabra Sound+ app

Use this app to access SmartSound and other features, select your preferred voice assistant, customise music profiles, modify how much noise you want to block out and much more. Plus, your headphones will maintain optimum performance with the visual in-app indicator to track battery usage, while you can install software and device updates directly in the app, without having to plug your headphones into your computer.

Jabra Elite 85h Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones Review: Almost the Best

Active Noise Cancelling headphones can be pretty amazing, or pretty terrible, depending on how well they actually cancel noise in real-world situations, so when Jabra sent over their Elite 85h Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth headphones ( Rs.

Jabra Elite 85h over-ear noise cancelling headphones review

The Jabra Elite 85h headphones are a seriously good product. They boast a good sound quality, with some super smart features, and a classy-looking design. But do they truly take out the likes of the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones Well, it depends.

Jabra Elite 85h Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones - Titanium Black 100-99030000-40 review

The Jabra Elite 85h is a good alternative Bose and Sony noise-canceling models for slightly less money, particularly if you value call quality.

The Jabra Elite 85h offers impressive noise-canceling performance, strong sound and excellent battery life with USB-C charging; They're comfortable to wear and are loaded with convenience features, including one-button access to Google Assistant, Alexa and Siri voice assistants.

A little heavier than their Bose and Sony competitors, they're not quite as comfortable; May not fit large heads.

Jabra Elite 85h review: A premium noise-canceling headphone that excels at making calls

When Jabra first announced its new Elite 85h ($300, £280 or about AU$435 converted) over-ear premium wireless headphones, it touted how it would be equipped with always-on (hands-free) voice assistant control using Amazon's Alexa or Google Assistant. Alas, that feature didn't make it into the final product -- apparently it affected battery life too much -- but the Elite 85h is nevertheless an excellent noise-canceling headphone that sounds very good, is comfortable to wear and also works great as a headset for making calls.

Jabra impressed us last year with a mix of quality and value on the Elite 65t. The Elite 85h is a well-built audio workhorse with amazing battery life and capable ANC, but the overall audio quality isn't as good as the Sony 1000XM3.

Premium cans that offer unique features on top of great sound quality and noise cancellation

Great sound quality; great noise cancellation; comfortable; user friendly features

Expensive; both sound quality and noise cancellation fall just short of being the best in the field; Expensive; both sound quality and noise cancellation fall just short of being the best in the field

Jabra Elite 85H Review

With excellent products like their most recent QC35 II and WH1000xM3 models , Bose and Sony have had a stranglehold on the premium noise-canceling headphone world for a few years now. But that's not to say other companies aren't nipping at their heels with compelling products of their own.

Class-leading battery life; Feature-packed app; Clear; focused sound; Comfortable

No power button; No aptX or LDAC
