Jabra Elite Active 65t review

If you’re the sort of devoted fitness buff that would give The Rock a run for his mountainous piles of money, you’re perhaps better off opting for the more tech-heavy Elite Sport. For everyone else, though, I’d fully recommend the Elite Active 65t. They're the best running earbuds I’ve come across, both in terms of build and sound quality. And the latter has me really deliberating over whether these buds could replace my beloved AirPods on the daily commute. If it wasn’t for the fact that they do dig in a bit after a while, it wouldn’t be up for debate. Bells and whistles like Alexa compatibility are great, even if they are a bit half-baked, and I like that the app lets me quickly jump between different audio modes and settings. They’re not flawless, but if you’re in the market for some truly wireless in-ear headphones that tick nearly all of the boxes, you'll be hard pushed to find better for the price.

Outstanding connection ; Impressively detailed audio; Snug fit; Completely sweat-proof;

Accelerometers can play up ; Alexa integration could be better ; Quite large ; Can become uncomfortable after extended use;

Jabra Elite Active 65t review: These wireless headphones beat out AirPods on sound quality

Apple's AirPods have dominated the truly wireless headphone category since their arrival in late 2016, but Jabra's Elite 65t ($170, £150 or AU$300) and Elite Active 65t ($190, £170 or AU$350) are among a handful of truly wireless models that are compelling alternatives. They definitely have performance advantages, including a more secure fit and better noise isolation than their Apple rivals.

The Jabra Active Elite 65t truly wireless earphones are the best alternative to Apple's AirPods, but the stepdown non-Elite model will save you a bit of cash.

The Jabra Active Elite 65t are fully sweat-resistant truly wireless earphones that fit comfortably and securely; They sound excellent, perform reliably and are great for making calls, with two microphones in each earpiece; Battery life is decent at 5 hours and the included charging case delivers two extra charges; A quick-charge feature allows you to get 1.5 hours of juice from a 15-minute charge.

The relatively tight, noise-isolating fit isn't for everyone; Motion sensor doesn't have much use at this point.

Jabra Elite 65t review: Giving the AirPods a run for their money

Jabra's first- and second-generation Elite Sport earphones were among the better totally wireless headphones on the market, but they proved to be no match for Apple's AirPods, which have dominated the category since their arrival in late 2016.

The well-designed Jabra Elite 65t truly wireless earphones rival Apple's AirPods and are superior in some ways.

The Jabra Elite 65t are smaller and fit more comfortably than their predecessors; They sound excellent for truly wireless headphones, perform reliably and are great for making calls, with two microphones in each earpiece; Battery life is decent at 5 hours and the included charging case delivers two extra charges.

The relatively tight, noise-isolating fit isn't for everyone; You have to step up to the more expensive Elite Active 65t to get a true sports model that offers enhanced sweat-resistance.

Excellent Gift

Received these as a birthday gift and have found them to be a great product. I particularly like the size options with the earbuds.

Not great.

Doesnt seem to fit one of my ears, despite trying the different size silicone plugs. Also constantly cuts out reception, despite the phone being in the top pocket. Sound seems good, but very annoying due to constant cutting out.

Great sound, bad fit

Sound is great but shape is uncomfortable, They are heavy and buds regularly fall out of ears. Earbud area needs to Be longer or speaker part smaller. Might just be my ear but disappointing overall.
