This is a great first gaming headset for me to review because in a way this is the perfect first headset you should buy if you’ve never purchased one before. It’s a good jumping-off point as you look to upgrade to something better later on.

Bought these as a gaming headset, because I wanted a built-in mic. There were no reviews yet online, but the cheaper version (unavailable) was well reviewed. The sound is ok, the headset is a bit uncomfortable after an hour or so. And the cord is about 1m long, too short for my setup.

Bought the product 3 weeks ago. Tried it immediately and worked great.

Purchased as a headset for home office use. The fitted cable with 3.5mm adaptor is great for use with a suitable mobile phone and the included adaptor/splitter is good for TEAMS and ZOOM meetings on the PC. The audio quality is excellent so I use them to listen to Spotify on the mobile and switch to calls when needed. The volume control on the left headphone makes it so much easier to control sound levels than looking for a control on the cable - I love that feature. The folding microphone also works really well. Very happy with the purchase - excellent value and performance.

The JBL Quantum 200 Gaming Headset is indeed budget but provides great value for money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a late start using this because my audio out port was broken. When compared to my bluetooth headphones, I've definitely noticed improved audio voice quality when on conference calls and on discord. The people I work and game with have commented as such as well, so that's a major improvement. Sound quality is good without offering excessive noise isolation/cancellation, which to be honest, is a refreshing thing as it allows me to not be blasted by the incoming noise. The build quality is good although the headset feels a little stiff and I can't wear it comfortably for an extended duration.
