The JBL Live 650BTNC is one of the headphone models that offer the best sounds. It has impressive dynamics and we really like that we were able to hear the bass which was heavy and loud, but does not overpower the mids and highs.

Noise-cancelling headphones are very useful in a myriad of situations, especially when traveling. Noise- canceling technology helps to keep the noise out of your head and your content front and center. There are plenty of brands out there with noise-cancelling headphones and JBL is one of them.
Nice design; looks better than Bose; Easy to use and setup; Great sound and acceptable ANC; Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa capable; Great battery life; Great build quality; Great value for money; Simple app used for EQ and firmware updates
Headband can become uncomfortable after long hours of use; Wish these had USB Type-C charging
JBL has hit another home run with the JBL Live 650BTNC headphones. Not only do they look pretty good, but they’re also comfortable and sound pretty good too. Noise cancellation is an added bonus, too. But are they the best noise cancelling headphones in their price range?
The JBL Live 650BTNC headphones deliver powerful audio performance and average noise cancellation in a wireless design that also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Powerful bass depth; Adjustable EQ; Alexa and Google Assistant support; Can be used in wireless or wired modes; Excellent mic clarity.
Voice commands require press of a button; No track navigation controls; Merely decent noise cancellation.
We're now used to seeing Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control in smart speakers, but headphones are a different story. JBL's $199.95 Live 650BTNC Bluetooth headphones feature a plethora of options, from noise cancellation and adjustable EQ, to support for Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. They offer a bass-forward sound signature that you can tune to your liking, and merely average noise cancellation. The Alexa and Google Assistant features are easy to use, but the experience isn't quite as seamless as it is on a smart speaker. In all, the JBL Live 650BTNC headphones are probably the most feature-loaded pair you'll find in this price range, but not the most compelling. Design and Voice Commands Available in black, blue, or white models, the Live 650BTNC headphones feature a sporty cloth-lined headband with ample cushioning, as well as large memory foam earpads that fully envelop the ear. In fact, the circumaural (over-ear) design eliminates plenty of ambient no...

The JBL Live 650BTNC offers good noise-cancellation, battery life, comfort, and features for a great price. We came away impressed at the well-rounded package JBL put together here and highly recommend it those who don’t want to splurge on the flagship ANC headphones from Bose and Sony.
Dynamic; punchy sound; Supports Google Assistant + Alexa; Extremely comfortable
MicroUSB charging; Good; but not class-leading ANC; Non-adjustable ANC
For $199 the JBL LIVE 650BTNC Over-ear Wireless Headphones have good battery life, relatively effective ANC and excellent comfort.
While its noise-canceling feature and comfort level aren't quite on par with competing models from Bose and Sony, its sound measures up well and it's worth considering if you don't want to spend $300 or more on a noise-canceling headphone.
The JBL Live 650BTNC has impressive sound and a comfortable fit while costing less than its premium rivals; The design seems sturdy and it folds up to fit in an included canvas pouch; It supports Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa with a button press.
The noise cancelation isn't as good as Sony's or Bose's.
JBL has made some pretty decent noise-canceling headphones over the years, including its line-topping Everest Elite 750NC, which I reviewed back in 2017. The only problem with that model was it cost around the same price ($300) as competing models from Bose and Sony that were simply better.

Noise canceling headphones are always useful when living in noisy cities. JBL announced a new series of ” JBL Live” headphones back at CES 2019. In this review, I am checking out the noise-canceling, over-ear headphones.
Great round-up of features for price; Solid build and still lightweight; Great battery life
No USB-C Charging; Controls placement isn't great
