Amazing speaker!!!

Bought this to replace our bulky speaker and it is 100% better! The sound quality is great despite the size. It looks stylish! Love the colour as well.

JBL Link 300 Review

The JBL Link 300 is one of the best products in the company's line of Google Home speakers. For its low price, you get a speaker with good-quality sounds and high bass boost; don't forget the handy controls.

JBL Link 300 review

Ultimately, the Link 300 does exactly what it promises too, offering solid sound and reliable Google Assistant support at a price point that Google itself has left vacant. If you're happy with bass-forward sound and don't mind the occasional microphone mishap, you should be happy.

JBL Link 300 Voice Activated Speaker - Black JBLLINK300BLKAS review

For the money, the JBL Link 300 matches up well against the Sonos One and Apple's HomePod.

The Google Assistant-enabled JBL Link 300 has Google Chromecast built in and can be linked to other Link and Chromecast speakers to create a multiroom set-up; It delivers excellent sound for its size and has both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

There's a little bit of presence boost; aka treble push.

JBL Link 300 review: A HomePod competitor that sounds almost as good and costs less

One of the great things about both the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice-assistant platforms is that they're both open. It's easy for third-party companies to make compatible smart home devices that work with both of them. In fact, companies can also make their own smart speakers to compete directly with those manufactured by Google and Amazon.

JBL Link 300 Review

JBL's new Google Assistant-powered Link smart speakers are appealing alternatives to Google's own Home line. The Link 10 is comparable with the Google Home in price, with better audio and a portable, rugged build. The Link 300, reviewed here, is closer to the Google Home Max in size, but its $249.95 price tag is a lot more wallet-friendly. You don't get quite the power or stereo audio of the Home Max or the larger Link 500, but you do get a reasonably loud speaker that works over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and provides a very balanced, enjoyable sound. Design The Link 300 ($249.95 at Walmart) is a fairly plain-looking speaker, measuring 5.6 by 9.4 by 5.9 inches (HWD), with an all-black fabric-and-rubber design and a wide barrel shape reminiscent of a large clock radio. The sides are covered in black grille cloth, interrupted by a large, circular bass resonator on the back and a small, silver JBL logo on the front. The top surface is black rubber with membrane buttons for play/pause, vo...

The JBL Link 300 is a balanced, fairly powerful Google Assistant speaker that falls comfortably between smaller smart speakers and larger, pricier options.

Google Assistant voice control; Reasonably powerful, balanced sound; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Google Cast

Not portable or rugged; Mono

Great product with a couple of limitations

Firstly the limitations. 1. It has great sound but a bit heavy on the base which can't be adjusted ie no equalizer. 2. In order to request individual music tracks you need a subscription to something like Spotify Premium, or Google Play Music. However if you have music loaded onto your phone or tablet, you can play it through the speaker via bluetooth. The unit is pretty easy to setup once you download Google Home on your phone/ tablet. It runs you through features providing examples as you go. It easily understands questions and is able to accept follow up questions to clarify the answers. One good feature is the mute button for those of you worried about the unit eaves dropping on your every word. This unit isn't totally portable as it needs a 240V power supply.
