JBL BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

Way smaller than what I expected however it gets pretty loud. If I would have known how small it was going to be I would have ordered an Ion speaker instead. Easy set up and connects to phone without issues.

Bass & Loudness beyond the size of the Speaker

Originally I though of buying Bose soundlink ii but after comparison, dropped the idea. Much cheaper than Bose Soundlink ii & deeper Bass than Bose. In low volume, Bose BASS is slightly better than JBL but this can be adjusted from your smartphone equalizers & increase the volume.

Compact; Good depth of the Bass; sufficient volume

When Audio pin connected; it gives much lower volume than Bluetooth & USB

The JBL Charge 3 doesn't feature the best sound you can get, but it's a feature-packed Bluetooth speaker ideal for outdoor parties.

Waterproof; Charges your phone; Pounding bass

Bulky design; Sound quality just OK

JBL Charge 3 review: Waterproof Bluetooth speaker plays louder, but sound quality takes a step back

There are a zillion wireless Bluetooth speakers you can buy these days, but three brands rise to the top of the heap: Bose, Ultimate Ears and JBL. And of those three, only JBL makes models that also double as backup batteries for phones and other USB-powered devices: the Charge line.

The JBL Charge 3 is larger than its predecessor, fully waterproof, and plays louder -- but it should sound a little better.

The JBL Charge 3 is a well-designed, fully waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker that features good battery life and doubles as an external charger for your portable devices; It also has built-in speakerphone capabilities, and plays loudly with strong bass for its size and price class.

While it plays louder than the JBL Charge 2+ it doesn't sound as good.

Great unexpected speaker

This speaker is fantastic! The sound quality carries far and the speakers haven't blown out being pushed to max.

Attractive Design; Easy Set-Up; Great Sound Quality; easy to take on the go

things in the kitchen appear to affect connection; (things like a wifi modem and microwave

Purchased this unit because I did not want to buy a Bose. I had this unit for about 2 weeks and might have used about 15 times for no more than 3 hours each time then all of the sudden it stopped connecting to my Macbook Air, I tried giving it a full charge, removed other Bluetooth speakers on my...

JBL Charge 3

The Charge 3 ($149.95) will look familiar, but pack few surprises for anyone who's used a recent JBL Bluetooth speaker . But that's not a bad thing, as the company has been pumping out some of the better speakers on the market.

Powerful audio performance with solid bass response and well-defined highs; Water-resistant design; Speakerphone functionality; Can charge mobile devices

Cannot backward navigate tracks; A bit bulky; Light on accessories

JBL Charge 3 Bluetooth speaker review: Play all day, play all night

JBL has been one of the bigger names in portable Bluetooth speakers for a while now. In fact, the Charge 3 that's the subject of this review is...

Thumpy bass; Outstanding run time; Links up with other JBL Bluetooth speakers

Poor documentation; Audio lacks clarity and separation
