The Charge 3 ($149.95) will look familiar, but pack few surprises for anyone who's used a recent JBL Bluetooth speaker . But that's not a bad thing, as the company has been pumping out some of the better speakers on the market.
Powerful audio performance with solid bass response and well-defined highs; Water-resistant design; Speakerphone functionality; Can charge mobile devices
Cannot backward navigate tracks; A bit bulky; Light on accessories
JBL does it again.
Waterproof; Size to sound ratio
Lacking in mids

JBL Charge 3 Review If you haven't upgraded your portable Bluetooth speaker in several years you might be due for an upgrade as they have come a long way in recently. JBL is no stranger to the speaker market and equally so, no stranger to the Bluetooth speaker market. In fact, regardless of your Bluetooth speaker requirements, there is a good chance that JBL has a speaker to match your needs.
This is a versatile wireless speaker with a fine feature set and very good sound quality for the money.
Impressive build; Clever design; Useful features; Solid; weighty and punchy sound; Balanced presentation
Lacks a little openness and subtlety
Originally I though of buying Bose soundlink ii but after comparison, dropped the idea. Much cheaper than Bose Soundlink ii & deeper Bass than Bose. In low volume, Bose BASS is slightly better than JBL but this can be adjusted from your smartphone equalizers & increase the volume.
Compact; Good depth of the Bass; sufficient volume
When Audio pin connected; it gives much lower volume than Bluetooth & USB
If you just need one really good Bluetooth speaker that's waterproof, this is it.
Massive sound; Well balanced, nothing overpowers anything else; Waterproof IPX7; 20 hours playtime; 6000mAh powerbank
Call quality isn't horrible but sometimes the caller couldn't understand me
Should you get the JBL Charge 3 Well, if you don't mind the larger size of this portable speaker, and you are willing to sacrifice portability for an extra powerful bass, then by all means, yes.
