This mini hub seemed a great idea, with a superb range of ports: USB/VGA/HDMI/ethernet. After purchase I was excited as I'd needed this solution. Unfortunately this one completely failed for reasons I wasn't expecting and I was advised not to use it but to plug USBs into the laptop (the problem I was trying to solve). You can't connect wireless or wired devices to this if the device is not within a specific GHz range. Excellent upgrade for anyone wanting a 2nd or 3rd monitor from their laptop, as well as adding another USB port. Easy set up, and works for exactly what I bought it for, running a 2nd external monitor off my laptop. Be aware, it's limited to 1080p 60fps and will not work for gaming, but for another screen to use for productivity, its awesome and relatively inexpensive compared to other solutions

This small and light docking station is very good. I use it to dock and extra screen to my work pc at home and also to my private Apple Mac. Set up was a breeze and it takes up almost no desk space. If I had a single criticism it would be that the USB connecting cable is a tad too short.
