Not happy with this product, the one delivered makes a constant and annoying electrical buzz/whine. It's enough noise that I don't have it plugged in when I'm in the room with it. I will be returning it.

Great device for a modern laptop with only USB C ports. For your $45 (at time of review) you get enough expansion to do normal things like connect your drives or other devices like controllers. I use mine for audio, external drives, SDXC Cards, and sometimes ethernet. Obviously some of those require USB devices, like my USB sound card. I haven't had any issues with mine thus far, nor did I want to spend $150 on one of the more capable ones. Happy with this one.

You get a lot for the price. Great product.

USB C stuff is still so expensive so it was nice to find this one that works well and doesn't break the bank. The micro sd card is a great addition for me as my camera uses that. Feels solid
