Specifically got this to run two monitors - after contacting support found out that it does not. It's either HDMI or D-Sub - not both. Maybe that should go in the product description?

Runs quite hot - I thought it might be faulty at first but just seems to be the way it is.

Is light weight and easy to use, but it can get surprisingly hot also under load. I'm using it with a HDMI monitor, LAN cable and a USB keyboard/mouse dongle attached. However, the mouse and keyboard kept freezing a number a times a day, in the end i had to plug the dongle directly in to the laptop to keep it working smoothly. I'm not sure if it was a problem with this J5create adapter or the new laptop's USB-C port (on a HP Envy x360 13"). Not 100% satisfied with this one.

My laptop is a newer laptop which provided fewer ports for things like USB/USBC/HDMI etc so this little device is perfect to plug everything into it and then plug it into one usbc on my laptop. Only concern about this product is it gets very hot very quickly and I am not sure if that is normal or not.
