Not really a great leap forward from last year, with certain elements taking a regrettable step backwards. Still, there is plenty of fun to be had here for cricket fans and the game mechanics are easy to pick up and play even for clueless amateurs.
International Cricket 2010 follows in the footsteps of last years "Ashes Cricket 2009," and whilst using the same mechanics, they have improved upon the game play and brought some rather fetching new dynamics to the field.
The unmistakable sound of leather on willow. The light tinkle of a teaspoon in a porcelain cup. The polite applause from the crowd. The sight of pretty umbrellas under the sun. A few men in white exchange pleasantries on the field. Generally just a nice day out.
There haven't been many cricket games to choose from in the last few years however I like this one more than any of the others that I have played. The additions and improvements make International Cricket 2010 as fun and functional as its predecessor, as long as you're not looking to play online.
