HP Pavilion g6t-2000

The HP Pavilion g6t-2000 is a fantastic budget laptop that offers good performance, a flashy design and good sounding audio. The battery life is sub par, however, and the graphics performance could definitely be better. For the sub-$500 price tag, it is still a great buy.

Stylish design; Good audio quality; Solid performance for budget price

Poor display viewing angles; Below average battery life

No value for money

Hello friends. On January 14, 2016 I bought a HP Pavilion G6 2301AX with Quad cord A8 processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard disk, and Windows 8 operating system which costed me INR 31, 400.00 Well, since all the laptops come along with anew year of warranty, I had no issues for paying this amount.

Would be a great machine - theoretically

Would be recommendable to students of all levels -- but due to its tremendous amount of issues with updating Windows 8 (you have to uninstall and reinstall drivers and all kinds of acrobatics, apparent;y a known issue but still they don't change it!

-- ery good value for the money; plasticy look and feel but hey; it's only £4; -- good screen; big and clear; -- Windows 8 is theoretically good and convenient; -- extremely fast for web surfing and word processing; -- it's light and the battery life is very good

--- the keyboard layout is to small for normal hands; --- the speakers sound cheap; ---the Windows 8 it comes with (at pcworld) doesn't have most updates and you have to install them with lots of issues (google the 13% update stall problems...!

HP Pavilion G6-2242ea review

The G6-2242ea is a very cheap laptop, but it still looks stylish. Its smart purple lid and interior and smooth curves set it a world apart from most other budget models. It's right up there with the Lenovo's IdeaPad S400 , which is another cheap laptop with a dash of flash.
