Few fighting games offer enticing background stories without neglecting the multiplayer aspect. Injustice 2 provides a balanced gameplay experience for both single and multiplayer fans, which I believe is its strongest quality.

Enticing story; Solid fighting mechanics; Huge amount of content; Top notch graphics and voice acting; You get to fight Atrocitus

Minor plot flaws; Expensive cosmetic items; Gear System is not as useful as it should

Injustice 2: "Written, voiced, and rendered to an exceptional level, immersing you into the DC world"

Injustice 2 isn't the most original fighting game on the block, but it might be the most balanced and thoroughly entertaining one - gear system notwithstanding.

Fabulous presentation & story; Gear is a customization dream; Balanced roster of fighters; Tight; precise controls

Rewards are entirely luck-based; The gear system feels unpolished; Online players who spam that one move

Injustice 2 is an immensely satisfying game chiefly for its standout bad guy: Superman.

Justice's dawn: Injustice 2 review

In the face of some excellent, fluid combat and top notch animation, what impressed me most about Injustice 2 was its ability to overcome fighting genre shortcomings to integrate a story that mattered into its moment to moment gameplay.

Fluid fighting and a varied roster; Story mode and integration into fights is a feat in the genre; Character customization is fun to mess around with; Solid online servers

Some balancing issues; Online needs more privacy options; Microtransactions and loot drops may frustrate

I think it's pretty safe to say that Arc System Works, Capcom and NetherRealm are the ‘three kings' of fighting games. These three companies develop the majority of popular fighting games but let's face it, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter are definitely the biggest names in the genre.

Epic loot; Stunning graphics; Fantastic netcode; Accessible fighting

Menus aren't all that informative; Missing DLC content is painfully obvious

Injustice 2 Review – PS4

Mortal Kombat Konnoisseurs NetherRealm are back with a second installment of Injustice; the fighter that pits the cream of DC Comics' superheroes and villains against each other. This time there's a real effort to offer a feature complete package from the off, but will that be enough for Batman and...

Injustice 2

It's hard for anything with the DC Comics logo slapped on it to escape the looming, bellicose shadow of the present-day DC Cinematic Universe. Indeed, Netherrealm Studios's sequel to the sneering Injustice isn't above frequent visual references to the morose house that film director Zack Snyder...

PS4 Review - 'Injustice 2'

Injustice 2 allows gamers to choose from a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains and build the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters.

I don't have any problem saying that Injustice 2 is a better game than its predecessor. The game's bombastic and nonsensical story is easy to overlook when it's so well executed and supported by Grade A fighting controls.

Great game with a TON of replay-ability

Great game with a TON of replay-ability. They keep putting out new multi-verse events that keep you engaged long after the story is complete. Great title.
