The first Injustice was a well-done fighting game, but it's completely outclassed by its sequel. NetherRealm Studios offers up a love letter to the DC Universe and fighting game fans.

Injustice 2 is the goods: a great fighting game with an absorbing narrative, plenty of content, and a legendary cast.

Breaking ties with Midway and signing with Warner seems to have been one of Netherrealm Studios' best decisions. Since then, the studio that created Mortal Kombat has definitely raised the bar with its games, delivering MK9, Injustice: Gods Among Us, MKX, and now Injustice 2.

Since the release of the 2011 reboot of Mortal Kombat, Netherealm Studios has been on a roll and has been getting better and better with each new fighting game they release. The first Injustice was great , Mortal Kombat X was great, and now Injustice 2, the forth AAA game by the studio is finally...

Probably the best single-player experience ever in a fighting game, on top of being an extremely accessible and highly technical multiplayer brawler.

Multi-layered combat system that's very easy to pick up, with plenty of varied characters; Excellent story campaign, with The Multiverse mode for added longevity; Excellent graphics

Apart from an excuse to keep grinding for loot the gear system adds very little of value; The plot and script are pretty nonsensical; Art design sometimes seems a bit off brand

Few fighting games offer enticing background stories without neglecting the multiplayer aspect. Injustice 2 provides a balanced gameplay experience for both single and multiplayer fans, which I believe is its strongest quality.

In the face of some excellent, fluid combat and top notch animation, what impressed me most about Injustice 2 was its ability to overcome fighting genre shortcomings to integrate a story that mattered into its moment to moment gameplay.
