They don't last as long as the brand name camera batteries, but for the price I could buy 4 of these instead! They're great backups and I've never gone through more than 2 batteries in a day.

I bought this Canon LP-E8 battery for my Canon Rebel camera. I believe this is the genuine item from Canon. Previously I bought a cheaper, non-Canon battery. However that battery got extremely hot when I charged it.

Just what I needed to take photos all day long. Although a bit pricey, it works well with no problems.

Bought this so my wife could have a spare ready when she needs it. Works just as good as the one that came with the t2i I bought her for Christmas. Hasn't let her down yet. I recommend buying a second battery if you plan do much photography away from ready access to outlets.

Genuine Canon Battery pack as described. I use it as a back up battery pack for my Canon EOS600D when I'm out and about.
