HyperX Cloud III Wireless review: Third time's another charm

The Cloud III is another excellent entry in the upper-mid range from HyperX, with great battery life, a nice comfortable build and a design that looks impressively modernised without adding weight. It doesn't necessarily have audio that will have you reassessing games as you play them, but there's enough oomph and detail to enhance basically any experience, making for a really great package overall.

Sounds great; Really comfortable; Dongle with adapter;

No noise cancelling;

Review de los HyperX Cloud III: Ponemos a prueba los cascos gamer

Diseño de alta calidad; Gran comodidad de uso; Compatibilidad multiplataforma; Buen micrófono desmontable; Sonido convincente;

El cable alargador puede ser demasiado largo para algunos; El sonido envolvente DTS no es perfecto;

HyperX Cloud III Wireless review: Cutting the gaming headset cord

With a current price of just under $170, the HyperX Cloud III Wireless confidently positions itself in the upper class. But can it match the sales success of the wired version HyperX Cloud III? I find out in this review.

The HyperX Cloud III Wireless impresses not only with its high-quality design and first-class workmanship, but also with its balanced sound. The versatile compatibility with different platforms, the detachable microphone, and the good battery life are further plus points. However, some minor weaknesses also stood out during the test. And it costs a lot for a wireless gaming headset that provides all the basics a gamer needs — but nothing more.

High-quality design and good workmanship; Multi-platform compatibility; Detachable microphone; Above-average battery life;

Occasional sound fluctuations in DTS Surround mode; Microphone adjustment required in noisy environments; No Bluetooth;
